Academics

We do not believe that any child is too slow to learn. Rather on entry, we establish the individual student's capabilities, academic and otherwise and this helps determine the style of teaching that will benefit the student the most.

Teaching Method

Most times students tend to cram and regurgitate during examinations. Our system in Solid Rock Girls' Academy promotes lasting knowledge in each student through participation in all class activities which helps the students to experience learning.
Though we are following the WASC syllabus to prepare the students for WAEC examinations, we employ the IGCSE teaching method. This enables our students to learn and imbibe, not only for examination purposes but also to retain whatever they have learnt for life. This is made possible by individual practice which leads to individual perfection.

Also, we have a well equipped computer laboratory with an interactive white board which facilitates interactive lessons via the internet.

Examinations prepared for

Students are prepared for WASC at JSS and SSS levels, SAT and TOFEL Exams.
